Even though I did not have the chance to see this film in theaters, my attention was grabbed by the score, wonderfully written and produced by Danny Elfman. It really captures the essence of the era of Flower Power and awesome rock ‘n’ roll.

In this episode we see the Warehouse 13 Crew — Pete, Myka, Artie, Mrs. Frederic, and Claudia — all trying to thwart James MacPherson (Roger Rees) from using his stolen artifacts as a means of generating income. Artie joins Pete and Myka in the field while Mrs. F and Claudia hold down the fort back in South Dakota.

This season opener made me fall in love with the series all over again. From the dialogue, which was expertly executed by the cast, to the great guest stars and the sweet ending, this is what the doctor, no pun intended, ordered.

This episode is a particular favorite of mine because it draws elements from one of my favorite American writers of all time.

Pete and Myka help Claudia out of a jam after she breaks the Warehouse, while Artie has an unexpected performance review.

At the risk of sounding mildly repetitive in the matter, I’ll say this of BOOM! Studios’s take on the Robin Hood legend using Jim Henson’s Muppets: it is really, really, amazingly hilarious.

I gotta say that this episode was wickedly awesome. Of course there were some small minute letdowns but, overall, this episode gets 5 out of 5 stars.
