Fandomestic: Lord Of The Rings Amigurumi

Amigurumi is a Japanese form of crocheting, usually of cute animals or chibi-style figures. It’s a popular craft for fans of just about everything, as it lends itself well to distinctive characters, like this amigurumi Fellowship of the Ring, made by GeekCentralStation.

She started with the Fellowship, but has added several other key characters, as well as variants on Fellowship members, to the group. Seen below: Theoden, the Witch King, and Gandalf the White.

Amigurumi figures themselves are pretty basic; it’s the details that make them recognizable. And when it comes to details, GeekCentralStation’s creations are incredible:

Be sure to check out her site and her Flickr set for more characters and detail shots — plus a pattern for the characters.
