Those of you who have an Xbox 360, an Xbox LIVE Gold Member account, and a copy of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (or access to one) can participate in another Xbox LIVE Game with Fame event on Friday, May 7th at 5:00 p.m. EST (2:00 p.m. PST). Fresh off the release of Wu Massacre, the new album that reunites legendary artists Method Man, Ghostface Killah, and Raekwon, Method Man will take some time out to play Xbox LIVE Gold Members in Modern Warfare 2.
So how do you get to play with Method Man? Send a friend request to the Xbox LIVE gamertag GWF Method Man and be online half an hour before the Game with Fame session begins (4:30 p.m. EST/1:30 p.m. PST). You’ll know if you’ve been chosen to participate if you receive a game invite from Method Man’s Game with Fame gamertag.
Not familiar with Method Man? Check out music videos now available on the Zune Marketplace on Xbox LIVE or pick up a copy of Wu Massacre, the album that reinvigorates the Wu spirit, science and theology with the hit single “Our Dreams.” The album artists released Wu Massacre after several successful releases in 2009, including Method Man and Redman’s Blackout! 2, Ghostface Killah’s The Wizard of Poetry, and Raekwon’s Only Built 4 Cuban Linx II. On Wu Massacre the three dynamic MCs join up for twelve tracks of “Wu mastery,” with guest appearances from Tracy Morgan, RZA, Inspectah Deck, and Cappadonna.
If you get a chance to play Modern Warfare 2 with Method Man, Game with Fame wants to hear about it! They will be posting recaps from gamers across the country, so send an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org with the subject “GWF – Method Man” and be sure to include your gamertag and home town.
Note: Only Xbox LIVE Gold members can access this event. To sign up for an Xbox LIVE account or to upgrade your existing Gamertag, visit the Xbox LIVE web site. If you plan to participate in this event, please be sure to send friend requests to the Gamertag mentioned above (make sure you include the space!) and log into your account at least half an hour in advance of the event.
