I’ve been remiss. I was waiting until I actually watched an episode or two of Dollhouse to decide whether or not I was really excited that Felicia Day will be making a guest appearance on the show.
Of course, I’m always excited when Felicia does anything (including that Sears commercial in which she sells a bright red washer and dryer and even that Cheetos commercial from way back), and I had high hopes for Dollhouse, but there’s nothing worse than writing a piece about how excited you are that so-and-so is going to appear on such-and-such only to find out after watching that the such-and-such you were talking about is really only so-so.
But now I’ve watched, analyzed, and fallen in love with the latest innovation from the talented mind of Joss Whedon, and therefore I’m very happy to (belatedly) announce that Felicia Day will be guest starring on the show! Felicia confirmed the appearance herself via twitter over a week ago now: “For those inquiring minds, I got the ok today to confirm that I’m going to be on an episode Dollhouse later in the season! So exciting!” And indeed, it is exciting, Felicia!
We don’t have any information on what character Felicia might play or which episode she will appear in, but don’t worry—as a recent Twitter addict I’ve got my eyes glued to Ms. Day’s updates and will let you all know if I “hear” anything else about her guest appearance.
