True Blood #1 Comic Cover Revealed

HBO’s hit vampire series True Blood is expanding into the comic book realm, thanks to a new series being overseen by Alan Ball (TV showrunner) and published by IDW, who previously adapted Angel and numerous other licenses from screen to panel. The first issue of the comic is scheduled for release in July, and here’s a look at the cover, drawn by comics favorite J. Scott Campbell.

True Blood #1 is featured in the May 2010 Previews distribution catalog and is now available for preorder from comics shops everywhere.
