Julie Benz Cast in Saw V

Various sources today report that Julie Benz has been cast in the next installment of the Saw franchise. Benz is well known to fandom through any of her many genre-friendly roles. She played Darla on both Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel, did voicework for Halo 2, appeared in Supernatural, and more recently plays Rita in Dexter and appears in Rambo and the upcoming Punisher sequel. Saw V started shooting a few days ago in Toronto and is slated for release October 24.
