Top Cow Productions announced this week that the first issue in their current universe-spanning crossover series, Artifacts, is going into its third printing, a first in Top Cow history. The series ties together iconic Top Cow characters such as the Witchblade, the Darkness, and Aphrodite IX for a brand new mini-series. The third printing of issue #1 is scheduled to hit stores on September 22, 2010, the same day Artifacts #2’s first printing releases. Artifacts #1’s third printing will feature a new cover by Michael Broussard, shown above. To celebrate #1’s success, Top Cow has sent us a digital copy of #0 to post for you to read for free! Nice! I got #0 on FCD, but I never was able to find #1 when it came out! Gonna have to camp out at my LCS for it and #2 on Sept. 22 because I’m really interested in this. I loved all these characters back in the 90’s when they were first starting out, but like with all my comic reading, I’ve fallen way behind on their stories. Plus, I LOVE the artist that did #0.
