Summit has a supernatural action flick in production with Vin Diesel in the lead, and now Rose Leslie has been cast opposite him. The Last Witch Hunter places Diesel in modern-day New York as the eponymous witch hunter, on the prowl for a villainous witch queen. Leslie will play a witch he encounters and with whom he must work to bring down the baddie.
Genre fans know Rose Leslie best from her role as the Wildling Ygritte on HBO’s Game of Thrones, and she also played housemaid Gwen on the first season of Downton Abbey. The Last Witch Hunter is slated to begin shooting in Pittsburgh in August.
