Promotional material from Marvel indicates that the X-Men will be dealing with a vampiric menace in their various comics later this year. Leading up to that, however, the mutants of X-Force already have had their hands full with the Black Queen Selene and her vampire cohort Eli Bard in the months-long Necrosha story arc. Each of the comic issues released in the main Necrosha continuity had an additional variant cover that paid homage to a classic vampire film poster. As the storyline winds down, here’s a look back at the covers, along with the original movie ads that inspired them. And no, there’s no Twilight homage with Gambit as Edward and Rogue as Bella.
