It’s a good month for villains in Eaglemoss’ Classic Marvel Figurines line, as Quicksilver joins the fray. Here’s my review of the X-Men baddie, complete with photos.
Quicksilver is one of those Marvel characters who has been equally at home being a good guy and a bad guy, but I’ll always remember him as Magneto’s son and the instigator of that House of M mess a few years back. Good or bad, here he is in 3.5″ lead form, dressed in his traditional blue costume. There’s not much you could do to mess up Quicksilver. He’s a pretty standard character with a simple outfit. He’s shown standing with his arms crossed, which is a typical pose for him in the comics when he’s not off and running. The sculpt and paints work well and are very clean here, especially on the face’s tiny details, but for some reason I keep thinking of Victor Garber when I look at him.
