Late last week, Funcom released their latest trailer for the game that is killing me with anticipation, A Secret World. Check out the video below:
Remember all those legends and myths you heard when you were a kid, or the conspiracies that you’ve been fed in countless blog entries and forum posts?
They’re all true.
It’s all explained in Funcom’s latest video for the upcoming modern-day massively multiplayer online role-playing game, The Secret World.
Unfortunately, all we get is a lot of text listing various conspiracy theories, paranormal theories, and basically, for lack of a better descriptive, all the X-Files type of subjects that the game’s story is built upon. As someone who is literally frothing at the mouth for this game to get a release date already so I can preorder it and then wait impatiently for it to be shipped, trailers like this kill me. And not in a good way. I think I speak for a good deal of gamers who are waiting for the game when I say, kinda was expecting some game footage, or at least what the lead-in promises — an explanation of some kind.
