One of the main goals of the Fandom Tumblr of the Week feature and of Fandomania in general is to spotlight creative folks who express their love for their fandoms in awesome ways. Sometimes it’s fun to step out of the fandoms and back to the origin of the excitement by looking at the creative processes that went into all these things we love so much. Why it’s great: The final product we play when we load up new video games is the end result of a long and winding creative road from the developers’ minds to our screens. One of the greatest things about The Save Room Mini Bar is its vast assortment of concept artwork that talented artists put together as they worked on the visual presentations of their games. Sometimes the concept art looks a lot like the actual graphics that ended up in the games, but often it varies wildly and presents an intriguing and alternate look at familiar characters, scenes, and places. The Save Room Mini Bar is a great blog to follow to get a frequent taste of all the awesome artistry that goes into this crazy medium.
