In Patch 4.3, there’s going to be a new thing called Transmogrification. This will allow everyone (if they want) to change the way their armor and weapons look. Most people will probably being going for Tier sets; however, for Death Knights, they don’t have many Tier sets to choose from. Below are the top five Armor sets you might see Death Knights using.

5. Scourgelord’s Battlegear/Plate
This is a newer Tier set (10) and one of the easiest to get, if you have a lot of Justice Points. It looks amazing, with all the purple. Which makes it the king of Tier sets.
4. Valorous Scourgeborne Battlegear/Plate
This was the very first Tier set (7) DKs had. The set comes from the revamped Naxxramas in Northrend. I believe that it is from the 25-man raid of Naxx, so if you can get 24 (or less) other people to run Naxx with you, this set can be yours.
3. Valorous Darkruned Battlegear/Plate
This is the DK’s second Tier set (8). It looks like the set worn by the leader of the Death Knights, Highlord Darion Mograine. People will probably be wearing it just for that. This set comes from the 10-man version of Ulduar and since many people love Ulduar, it won’t be hard to find a group to get this set.
2. Blue Starting Gear
This set doesn’t have a name, but it is the second armor set you get. This can last you until the end of Outland and maybe even the start of Northrend, if you level quickly. It looks amazing, but most DKs have sold this already.
1. Acherus Knight Set
This set is the gear that all DKs get when they log in. You replace it very quickly with the blue starting gear and most DKs probably have gotten rid of it. However, it is so cool looking. Hopefully there will be a way to get it back.
