Weird Al Yankovic has been hard at work on his new album, Mandatory Fun, which just might be his final studio album with a major record label before he strikes out on his own to release his music through less corporate means. It should hardly be a surprise that he’s unveiling the songs from Mandatory Fun in a novel way, given his geek-awesome track record for the last several decades. This time around is something extra special, though, as Al will be releasing eight new songs as music videos, one a day, for the next eight days. The first song arrived today via his official website and is “Tacky,” his spin on Pharrell’s infectious ditty “Happy.” Check it out!
