Did you know there is an ALL OUT WAR in The Walking Dead comic right now? Yes, we are now on Issue #123 which is 9 out of 12 of the miniseries, and most of the fighting has been done with words. We enter right where #122 left off with Negan and his men ready to attack the good guys. Under their noses, Eugene and a group are ready to flee their captivity.

From here, we are given glimpses of what is going on with the large group of survivors. Maggie and Andrea are discussing the fact that Maggie is in a power position, something that seemed to just happen. Andrea tells Maggie that she may find another person to love, but Maggie refuses the thought. She’ll be alone until she dies.
Carl is greeted by Sophia and the two exchange words. Sophia wonders if Carl remembers him, and he snaps at her. She says he’s mean, and before he can apologize, she stomps off. Andrea and Rick are eating and Rick is alarmed by the amount of food on his plate. Apparently with the large amount of new people in the camp, there is also a large amount of supplies. Rick is optimistic and Andrea is delighted. Rick simply can’t see how Negan will ever conquer the strength of their community.
And what happens?
The Saviors arrive.
They are dirtying up their weapons and driving their truck through the gate. After Negan has some words, of course, because he needs to say the F word repeatedly for at least three pages of each comic. They are immediately pelted with gunfire. Andrea tries to take pregnant Maggie to safety, to watch over Sophia. She needs Carl’s help. As the bad guys start heading in, the good guys try to keep them from the houses. They try to keep the cars from rolling in. Negan is ready to kill anything that moves. Marcus is stabbed, but Michonne is there to kill his attacker and take him to Dr. Carson.
Dwight and Negan have sneaked around to the back of Rick’s cover — and Negan calls on Dwight to take him out. Rick is struck with an arrow.
Negan calls game over.
