It’s hard to believe that September is almost over. Other than Dragon Con and some new television shows starting, it’s been a quiet month. I do have some new things to recommend to you all. I’ve been eager to check out the new shows and discover new gems of fandom his month. I think September is helping us gear up for a nerdy few months with great movies, shows, and video games that are all coming out soon. So, without further ado, here are my recommendations for this month.
Trailer: Jessica Jones
A new teaser was released of Netflix’s upcoming superhero series. We get to see Krysten Ritter as Jessica Jones show us exactly what she thinks of an alarm clock. I, for one, am stoked about this series.
Good Starts on Television: Fall TV
These premieres caught my attention and made me hope that the shows will continue at a good pace.
Blindspot (NBC)
Minority Report (Fox)
The Bastard Executioner (FX)
YouTube Pick: Game Grumps Playing MarioMaker
If you want to witness, but not experience, gaming rage, check out Danny and Arin playing Ross’s levels on Game Grumps. I’ve laughed and experienced second hand game rage.
Netflix Find: Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries
If you love period pieces along with crime solving, then Miss Fisher is for you. Set in the 1920s, the show follows Phryne Fisher and her friends as she discovers who done it. Definitely for people who love old-fashioned murder mysteries.
I haven’t read any books that I felt an overwhelming urge to share this month. However, my Kindle is stocked and ready for new recommendations next month! The same goes for video games.
