As if releasing a video a week every week this year wasn’t enough, Smashy Claw are also working on putting together two albums. And they could definitely use your help to pay for the mastering! As of this writing, they haven’t quite yet reached their goal, with the deadline rapidly approaching on October 16. So check out the perks on their Indiegogo campaign and help them get there!

What I’m Getting

I’m going for the $30 level, which includes autographed CDs as well as outtakes and demos among other digital goodies. Plus I’ll be listed as a “Contributor” in the liner notes. Cool!

What Else Is Available

If you like swag, there’s plenty of that as well. You can add a t-shirt ($35 level) or posters and stickers ($45 level, which also upgrades you to “Noble Donor”) or even a “secret goodie bag” ($90 level, at which you also become an “Omnipotent Benefactor,” which does sound pretty impressive). There are lower levels as well, with the $5 entry level even getting you unmastered previews. The $15 level gets the albums in digital format, while the $25 gets non-autographed CDs. And at the very highest levels, you can even get Smashy Claw to write you a song ($300) or include your likeness in a music video ($200).

What Else Is Cool

The themes of the albums themselves! I didn’t even mention these before! The first, Insane Is Repeating, featuring songs about, well, insanity (probably not exclusively about that topic, though), is actually the album I’ve been anticipating from them for some time now. But the other, Demons in the Undertow, is a nautical concept album. Now that’s pretty cool. Having checked out Smashy Claw’s Claw Machine videos, I have a feeling I already know some of the songs that will be on each, but I’m very much looking forward to hearing both. And if you are, too, then definitely give them some cash so they can do them both properly!
