Syfy pulled in some good ratings this month with the premiere of their new series Helix, and now they’re rewarding Haven’s 2013 ratings boost by announcing its renewal for a fifth season. Along with giving the show a fifth season, the network also is doubling the order of episodes up from 13 to 26. As they do with many of their hour-long dramas, Syfy will be splitting Haven’s upcoming season, with the first half airing this year and the second half coming in 2015. All the series regulars are expected to return when Haven starts shooting again in the spring.
