Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels director is taking on a new character and era for his next project, a project that will unleash a reimagining of Sherlock Holmes onto film. Ritchie’s Holmes will have a more adventurous presentation than the previous adaptations of Holmes have delivered. Lionel Wigram and Dan Lin are signed on to produce, and the movie is scheduled for an October release.
