Gaming geek? Music freak? If either one is the case and you’re in possession of or have access to an Xbox 360 and a copy of Rock Band 2 then you’re in luck, because the quirky members of the popular rock group OK Go, best known for their fantastic music videos, will be online to play Rock Band 2 with some lucky Xbox LIVE Gold Members on Monday, March 22nd, 2010. The band members — guitarist/vocalist Damian Kulash, bassist/vocalist Tim Nordwind, drummer/percussionist Dan Konopka, and guitarist/keyboardist Andy Ross — will be available between 8:00pm – 10:00pm EST (5:00am – 7:00pm PST) to jam out with some lucky fans.
Game with Fame will post recaps from gamers across the country after the event, so players who have a chance to rock out with the members of OK Go are asked to send stories of their experiences, including gamertag and home town, to Game with Fame at xboxgwf@live.com using the subject “GWF – OK Go”.
How will you know if you’re playing with OK Go? The band members will be using the Gamertag OKGo GwF for this Game with Fame event.
Not familiar with OK Go? The band is best known to non-fans for their Internet phenomenon in 2005, formally called the “Here We Go Again” music video but informally referred to as “the treadmill video” in which the four members of OK Go perform a synchronized dance using sets of moving treadmills. The band has released three studio albums to date: their self-titled debut, OK Go (2002), the 2005 hit Oh No, and most recently Of The Blue Colour Of The Sky, released in January 2010. For more information on OK Go, visit the band’s official web site or check them out on Facebook, MySpace, or Twitter.

If you plan to participate in this event, please be sure to send friend requests to the Gamertags listed above (make sure you include the space!) and log into your account at least half an hour in advance (7:30pm EST/4:30pm PST).
