One of Disney’s least popular animated movies always has been my favorite. Disney’s The Black Cauldron, a loose adaptation of Lloyd Alexander’s classic Chronicles of Prydain, was my first real exposure to epic fantasy, and it set me on a path that eventually would expose me to Middle Earth and beyond.
