Halloween and Fall TV are both upon us. It’s an exciting time on both counts. We have some good offerings this year of spooky, or spoopy, nature. To me, it seems like there are more Horror type offerings this year than previous ones. I’m looking forward to sampling the new and get back into some of these returning favorites. Here is my list of the top six shows I’m ready to get int me into the spoopy spirit!

1. Lore Season 2 (Amazon Prime)
The second season of Aaron Mahnke’s podcast-turned-TV-show returns October 6th. Viewers get to see more of his stories, chilling and unexplained, from history come to our screen. One of my favorite stories is being covered on this run. The story of Burke and Hare, the resurrection men, has always fascinated me. Tune in to enjoy the show!
2. Chilling Adventures of Sabrina (Netflix)
I was a fan of the original Sabrina show, so my interest was automatically peaked. This series follows a comic series with a darker storyline. Sabrina’s 16th birthday offers her bewitching power but with a dark cost. It sounds absolutely interesting. There just better be an awesome Salem.
3. Charmed (CW)
Tell me you are not hearing the original theme song right now. The remake promises diversity with magical hijinks. I will check it out and hope it offers a fresh spin on the tale. Also, let’s not kill one of the main witches early on.
4. Midnight, Texas Season 2 (NBC)
I loved the first season of this show. I was so happy when it was renewed. Manfred and his Scooby Gang will continue fighting evil and getting into trouble. The characters are quirky and I look forward to more insane storylines.
5. Castlevania Season 2 (Netflix)
Season 1 was the bomb and the animation superb. This season will have more Alucard, which I’m excited about. Four episodes were not enough for fans. Castlevania is one of my favorite game series and the show has stolen me away as well.
6. The Haunting of Hill House (Netflix)
Based on early reviews of the show, it promises to be horrifying to the extreme. I’m not a huge true horror fan, more gothic, but this one appears interesting.
