Earth Day is tomorrow, and Evil Controllers, the ironically named company behind some awesome video game controllers, invites you to help the planet by setting aside some quality gaming time.
Evil Controllers is partnering with the Gamers Go Green team from Whitney M. Young High School in Chicago to create Game Hour, the beginning of what is sure to be an annual tradition. Game Hour calls for all gamers to observe energy conservation on Saturday, April 23, 2011, by turning off all electrical devices in every room of the house except for one room. That room will be the gathering place where family and friends can play a game together an hour, thereby saving the energy that would have been used in those other rooms.
If you take part in Game Hour, Evil Controllers requests that you send videos and photos to them to be compiled into a commemorative video. You can get that to them through the Game Hour page on Facebook.
