South by Southwest (SXSW) is an annual film festival in Austin, Texas, that also focuses on interactivity and music. This year the festival’s official website has announced that it will be starting up on March 12 in comic book style with a screening of Kick-Ass, the upcoming adaptation of Mark Millar’s hit Marvel title. The Kick-Ass comic book tells the story of a teenage comics geek who decides to put his fandom to work by becoming a bona fide superhero. The movie stars Aaron Johnson, Mark Strong, Chloe Moretz, and Nicolas Cage, and it’s scheduled to open in theaters April 16. Here’s a look at the trailer:
