It’s Halloween time again! And you know what that means: spooky music for your listening pleasure! Or at least, you know, some fun music that loosely has something to do with something vaguely Halloween-like. Or something like that…

Not Literally Productions – “Movies of the Night”

A Rocky Horror parody from Not Literally productions. Not much more to say than watch it now!

Elvira, Mistress of the Dark – “2 Big Pumpkins”

Elvira recently made a comeback on Hulu, and here’s her music video to help promote it. If you know anything at all about Elvira, then you can easily guess this song isn’t really about pumpkins…

mc chris – “Where the Ghosts At?”

This one is a fan made video for a track from mc chris’s latest album based on Ghostbusters. Very nicely done!

Frenchy and the Punk – “Dark Carnivale”

I have no idea why I’ve never mentioned Frenchy and the Punk before. Their steampunk cabaret music is really great, and this track is perfect for Halloween, especially since the song even mentions it.

Tommy SpaSe and the Alchemists – “Things that Go Bump in the Night”

Yeah, I did feature this back in February, but it actually fits on this list, too. It’s certainly going to go on my Halloween playlist!

Goblin Kitchen: Labyrinth Masquerade

The Clockwork Tea Room’s kitchen staff is rather exuberant in preparing the finer things. Check out the amazing production quality in this video with some really cool geeky cameos!

MC Frontalot (ft. Jean Grae) – “Gold Locks”

This twist on “Goldilocks” from the bear’s perspective definitely deserves to be included on any geek’s Halloween playlist. And the video is pretty great, too!

Uncle Monsterface – “The Zombie”

One of the original Lava Men, the Zombie makes a perfect addition to your Halloween fun.

The Misfits – “Astro Zombies” (NSFW)

I ran across this on io9’s list of sci-fi themed songs and knew I had to include it. Even better: it’s based on what looks like a terrible movie with the same name. I’m going to have to check it out for sure if I can find it!

S.J. Tucker – “Song of the Witches”

For some reason I was having trouble finding songs for the list this year (which actually accounts for everything below this song, too), so I decided to check out Bandcamp’s Halloween tag. This is one of the songs I discovered. And now I have a feeling I’ll be checking out more of Tucker’s work!

The Mangled Dead – “Radioactive Zombie Priest”

A very scary combination! The rest of this EP would equally fit well on your Halloween playlist, so check it out, too.

Zombina and the Skeletones – “Punk Rock Vampires: Destroy!”

The title sums it up rather nicely. Great stuff!

ZOMBIE! – “Meet Me in the Graveyard”

ZOMBIE! is like the Ramones mixed with the Misfits. Check out this punk rock ode to zombie girls everywhere.
