Don’t forget that Monday, September 14, is the deadline for sending us your list of the greatest fictional characters of all time! We’re going to cut off the submissions at that time and then start crunching the numbers to compile our list of 100. If you haven’t sent your 10 characters yet, you still have time to do it (as long as you’re reading this before Monday). Send them in!

Obviously, Dax Collins is a fictional character – and quite good at that. But seriously, no one takes “his” posts seriously. All of the posts are a joy to read, what with the sheer imagination and consistent characterization.

I honestly can’t imagine that a single author could be producing both his own posts along with the “Dax” posts. Obviously, it has been a group effort to create such a lively and realistic character. And while I enjoy the character… come on! “Dax?!” No one’s falling for that!

If nothing else, I’ll continue to read fandomania just to see the future hijinks of my favorite fictional character: “Dax Collins!”

This is an easy one. In terms of comics, it’s the big 3: Spiderman, Batman and Superman. And movies..Indiana Jones, Darth Vader, E.T. Hans Solo and Doctor Who. How about Dracula? Not any one actor, just the character! He created the movie monster genre. Without him, we’d have no Buffy, Lestat, Angel, Blade, True Blood and god forbide…Twilight.
And speaking of movie monsters..Godzilla! He opened the flood gate for Japanese monsters into American TV. Plus he can use the Sears Tower as a back scratcher! How’s that for a resume!? Don’t forget the shark Jaws.He had more people afraid to tip toe on the beach in the 80s than David Hasselhof. Come on, admit it.
