The Winchesters have had one mission all season: kill the Leviathans and stop Richard Roman. Now, they’re going to see that goal achieved with the season finale. But, like all things in the lives of Dean and Sam, their plan doesn’t come without consequences.

Saga returns this month as we follow Marko, Alana, and Hazel on their journey to safety. When last we left the family, The Horrors had surrounded Alana and Marko. Now, Marko lays bleeding and Alana is begging for her life so that her daughter is not left an orphan.

Collecting blood, running up against the Alpha vampire, and worrying about Bobby’s growing anger were all elements the Winchesters had to deal with in this week’s episode. The problem is that everything has to work together perfectly for them to save the world and their friends, else there are going to be a whole lot of casualties to this war.

The Charmed Ones are in hiding as they try to come to terms with a world that has become chaotic and dangerous. Magical beings are still powerless and mere mortals now hold the power of gods. It doesn’t look positive for the sisters, their family, or friends. How will they manage to get out of this in one piece?

The many personalities of Buffy got a show in this issue of the comic, which begs the question — which one is real? And can all the Buffys rejoin into one body to make her whole again? That’s yet to be determined, but we’re still along for the ride!

A reluctant prophet, a broken angel, and the word of God: just another day in the lives of the Winchesters. Those are some of the treats we were given in this week’s episode and the clues were meant to bring us that much closer to the awaited finale, and hopefully the downfall of Richard Roman.

With the promise of Felicia Day, Ghost!Bobby, and the return of Richard Roman, this week’s episode of Supernatural was bound to be action-packed. What I don’t think we realized was that all this action meant the boys were going to be on the sidelines for most of the hour. Did the uneven balance hurt or help this time around? Let’s find out.

With the promise of no more trauma, Faith has sought out Dru for her release. That is where we last left our Slayer and where we pick up this issue. Is this her golden ticket or is she condemning herself to yet another round of abuse?

With a storyline reminiscent of the noir of old, this issue of the Charmed comic sets out to explore Paige and Henry’s desire to keep little Henry Jr. with them. Social services has found his birth father, but Dad’s not exactly the law-abiding type to entrust a baby to. But Paige has a plan, one that is a bit magically-influenced.

With the promise of an old school hunt, coupled with the return of Bobby, this week’s episode had a lot of potential. Unfortunately, reality didn’t match the high expectations I had. While I didn’t dislike the episode, there was definitely a feeling of “but it could have been so much more!”
