We’ve showcased some awesome fan-built LEGO creations over the years, but this one’s going to be hard to top. LEGO enthusiasts and Lord of the Rings fans Alice Finch and David Frank have completed construction on a breathtaking recreation of the Elven city of Rivendell. Featuring a staggering amount of detail, intricate patterns and designs, and incredible scale and scope, their diorama covers fifty square feet in area. If you look closely you’ll find loads of familiar sights and scenes, including some translucent horses arising from the water to overcome some unfortunate Nazgul. Alice and David have been working on Rivendell off and on for the past couple of years, and they put in a big and focused push to finish it during the past few months.
