Snoop Lion, formerly Dogg, has a tendency to pop up in the least expected places, and he’s proven time and again to be a fan of lots of stuff that falls into the realm of geekdom. Never has that been more apparent than in his most recent music video. The video for the song “Get Away” drops Snoop into a couple of different retro video gaming settings while he performs with Major Lazer. Mykola Dosenko animated this very Pokémon-esque adventure, which was directed by Ashten “Whoopi” Winger. The song is part of Snoop Lion’s Grammy nominated album Reincarnated.
