Harmonix has been releasing weekly downloadable songs for Rock Band for the past five years, and it looks like that constantly chugging train may be beginning to slow down. Starting this week, they are recycling songs that previously released as part of the Rock Band Blitz soundtrack, instead of dropping completely new-to-Rock Band tunes into the marketplace. Harmonix has announced that they will be releasing these Blitz tracks piecemeal every other week while they continue to release new tracks on the alternate weeks. Today sees the first batch of rereleases going up, featuring singles from Foster the People, Foo Fighters, and Maroon 5. Each of these songs is priced at $1.99 (160 Microsoft Points), so you’d definitely get a better per-song value if you just downloaded Rock Band Blitz for $14.99 (1200 Microsoft Points). Here’s the full list of songs for this week, followed by videos of all of them:

  • Foster the People – “Pumped Up Kicks”
  • Foo Fighters – “These Days”
  • Maroon 5 ft. Christina Aguilera – “Moves Like Jagger”
