I’ve covered webseries extensively on Fandomania. I’m pleased to be able to write that two of my favorites are returning this fall. Both of these series ran successful fundraising campaigns that allowed them to return. Fans like me get to enjoy their adventures again this summer. So here is the latest on Classic Alice and The New Adventures of Peter and Wendy.
Classic Alice
Classic Alice returns on June 9th with new and fun episodes. Last season with left off with Alice (Kate Hackett) and Andrew (Tony Noto) finally giving fans the moment they were waiting for. We get to see their continued adventures along with seeing new books that Alice tried to live by. Some of the books she covered last season were The Wind and the Willows and Macbeth. We saw Alice, Andrew, and Cara (Elise Cantu) have many adventures along with plenty of emotional moments. I, for one, am looking forward to seeing what Season 2 brings. I want to see what book adventures they have next.
The New Adventures of Peter and Wendy
June 12th seems so far away for the premiere of season 2 of The New Adventures of Peter and Wendy. Season one ended with a good dose of feels and sadness. I was captivated by the modern interpretation of J.M Barrie’s classic tale. I got attached to all the cast members and their stories. The relationship between Peter (Kyle Walters) and Wendy (Paula Rhodes) had me on the edge of my seat. I wondered if it was possible to write a Crushworthy Character article on Kyle Walters’ version of Peter Pan. This season is introducing Hook and Smee, along with the Darling siblings’ father (starring the awesome Jim Beaver). I will be waiting with baited breath until the premiere.
I recommend binge watching both first seasons of each series. Sadly, I have too much work to do so. Believe me, I would if I could.
