Man, I’m so behind on everything it’s ridiculous! I’ve been accumulating stuff for this list for months; the last list was back in June, and I’m pretty sure a lot of these were already piling up. I also have tons of albums to review, covers, and parodies as well (plus, of course, Halloween is coming up soon…). Anyway, let’s get to some relatively new videos, and I’ll try to get caught up on stuff in the next few weeks!
“The Gin Song” – The Men That Will Not Be Blamed For Nothing
“Gin is the tonic to cure all your woes!” Of course, it might end up creating new ones…
“The Rebuttal of Schrödinger’s Cat” – Sarah Donner
Schrödinger’s famous cat gets her own side told in this delightful song. Bonus real kitty cat at the end!
“All In Together” – Professor Elemental
A song about celebrating the odd: “There’s no such thing as normal, everybody’s weird!” Come join the tribe!
“Hulk Hands” – Corporate (NSFW)
OK, yeah, it’s definitely stepping into territory that’s normally occupied by Lonely Island, but I have to admit it makes me laugh. Especially the part about the megachurch.
“A David Lynch Movie” – Schäffer the Darklord
Appropriately enough for the recent Twin Peaks announcements, Schäffer the Darklord brings us a song about various David Lynch movies, using music from the show. See how many references you can get!
“Steampunk Girl” – John Anealio
John Anealio’s song about Cherie, the goth kid who discovered brown, gets its own lyrics video. Nicely done.
“Save Point” – My Parents Favorite Music
World 1 video for one of my favorite tracks from Mount Weird.
“Regen” – My Parents Favorite Music (feat. Mayor Wertz)
World 3 video from Mount Weird. Not quite sure what’s up with World 2, but I’m sure it will be out at some point.
“This Song” – Paul and Storm
If this song actually ever ends up in a commercial, it will quite possibly be the most meta thing that’s ever been, ever.
“40-Year-Old Vegan” – Chokeules
I knew this would be a stand-out track when I reviewed the album back in July, and this video proves that. It also looks like Choke had a lot of fun filming this one.
