Joining the ranks of the many entertainment bundles out there is the new to me Groupees. They are currently featuring a bundle of nerdcore albums that can be purchased together for a minimum of $2.
Many of the artists will be familiar to readers of this column: MC Lars & YTCracker (The Digital Gangster LP), Wordburglar (Rapplicable Skills), Sammus (Another M), Kabuto The Python (The Almighty Deluxe), StarF (Have Some Fun!), and Professor Shyguy (a special bundle that includes two preview tracks from his upcoming album).
Also included are Dan Bull (who I had never heard before but will now be checking out; The Garden), The Adventures of Duane & Brand0 (Mario 3), and B-Type (Galactic Dinosaur Patrol (Special Edition)).
In addition to supporting the artists, you can also choose to support MyMusicRx, a charity which provides music to children facing cancer.
I was sent a gift copy of the bundle, but given that the money is going to a good cause, I also decided to add in some more. Plus, I always like to support indie artists and charities whenever I can. There is even a competition for the person who donates the most, with leaders earning prizes from the artists.
The bundle ends on October 21, 2015, so get out there and get some really great music while also supporting a good cause!
