Hasbro’s Marvel Super Hero Squad has been a hugely popular toy line for both young children and older collectors, and now it’s branching out into new media. Marvel Entertainment has announced that it is producing a brand new cartoon series based on the characters and art style of the toy series. The new TV show’s target audience will be 6 to 8 year olds, and the stories will be humorous in tone. Marvel Super Hero Squad is expected to premiere in 2009.
