Earlier this week we put out a call for new writers, and we’ve had a great response! We’ll be getting in touch with some of the applicants this weekend to follow up, but we still want to hear from more of you. Please keep your e-mails coming, but keep the following in mind when you write to us:
- We want to know about you and what you can contribute to the site. We’ve been getting a lot of interested responses, and we’re more likely to write back to people who give us an idea of their interests and abilities. So feel free to share!
- Samples of your writing are essential. Please make sure you include links to what you’ve written in the past so that we can bask in your creative awesomeness.
- Keep an eye out for poor punctuation, grammar, and spelling in the application e-mail, and be sure to proofread what you’re sending before you send it.
