Desperate Housewives isn’t a show we tend to cover (or condone) here, but it occasionally has been the landing zone for some awesome genre actors between real roles, as is the case this season. Julie Benz, fresh off her four season role on Dexter, has landed a role on the ABC drama. According to EW’s Michael Ausiello, she’ll be playing a stripper with a Masters degree for at least three episodes. Nathan Fillion picked up Castle after his stint on Wisteria Lane, so here’s hoping his fellow Joss Whedonverse alum Benz gets her own starring role after this.
