Actual, confirmed details about Star Wars Episode VII are few and far between, but J.J. Abrams pulled back the curtain just a little more today in his newest charity video for UNICEF. Stop reading here if you don’t want to see or know any details about what we’ll be seeing in the new Star Wars chapter!
As Abrams is talking about the current Star Wars charity promotion, the camera pulls back to reveal that he is standing in front of an old and weathered X-Wing fighter. A pilot in the familiar orange jumpsuit from the original trilogy climbs up into the cockpit, and then a little MSE-6 Mouse Droid (again, from the original trilogy) rolls past. All of these things are real, tangible objects and not just greenscreened special effects. Does this get you even more excited for the new films?
