I’m continuing the Fangirl Challenge, this time with my top nine female characters. These are women that I think are just amazing and would love to meet, if they were real.
9. Abbie Mills
Abbie Mills from the hit show Sleepy Hollow is a Lieutenant in the Sleepy Hollow police force. She is disbelieving of the supernatural events at first, but comes to accept her role as a protector and fighter of evil.
8. Ruth Evershed
Ruth Evershed from Spooks — or MI-5, as it is known in America — is a fantastic character. She seems timid and shy, but when push comes to shove, she is just as tough as any field agent. She even tells off her boss, Harry Pearce, a time or two and gets away with it.
7. Morrigan
Morrigan from Dragon Age: Origins has become a fan favorite and is supposed to show up in Dragon Age: Inquisition. She is a very powerful mage who makes no bones about not liking anyone. However, you can have a relationship with her, which means a lot to her at the end.
6. Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow
Natasha Romanoff from Marvel Comics is a powerhouse. She is adept at espionage and knocking a few heads together. Natasha is underestimated by those who don’t know her, and she uses that to her advantage.
5. Joan Watson
I know some people were skeptical of Joan Watson from Elementary. A female Watson was almost unheard of, but Joan is one of the great things about the show. She stands up for herself and doesn’t take any guff from Sherlock. Joan also quickly has picked up on lockpicking and self-defense.
4. Kate Kane/Batwoman
Kate Kane has come along way from her introduction in Detective Comics. She has moved from a Batman counterpoint to a star in her own right. Kate is one of the top lesbian superheroes and beyond that she is just as tough as Batman.
3. Allison Argent
Allison Argent is from the MTV show Teen Wolf. She started out as a love interest for Scott McCall, but soon became a force of her own as she is able to use a bow and arrows to great effect. Allison took a turn to the dark side under the influence of her grandfather and the death of her mother.
2. Mako Mori
Mako Mori from Pacific Rim is an instant favorite. She seems quiet and unassuming, but she is able to beat Raleigh Beckett in a fight. Mako also overcomes her fear of Kaiju and saves the world.
1. Galadriel
Galadriel from The Lord of the Rings is one of the only female characters in the books. Her importance is mentioned, but not really known in detail until The Silmarillion when her past is uncovered. Galadriel is very old and very wise. She is also known as the most beautiful of all Elves.
