The biggest fandom news of the week has been Disney’s massive purchase of Lucasfilm, including the whole Star Wars franchise. There’s been a lot of speculation and anticipation about what this could mean for Star Wars, but honestly the fans were way ahead of the business folks on this one. Disney / Star Wars mashups have been a popular topic for fan art for a long time, and here’s a look at some fan-made creations that crept a little closer to becoming canon this week.
