Prue’s situation is getting worse, but some truths are being revealed to show how far down the path of wrong she’s actually traveled. It’s up to the sisters to either save their sister or kill her. It’s an impossible choice, and either option will come with consequences.

We start the issue picking up right where we left the sisters. Paige and Piper are being strangled at Knox Academy by Dominus, and that causes Paige to flash back to her fight with Henry. Their family is constantly at risk, thanks to who the Charmed Ones are, and Henry’s tired of it. He needs to make sure their children won’t be put in harm’s way, and that’s becoming increasingly difficult as the situation with Prue is boiling over. Now that he knows Paige won’t walk away from her familial obligations, he’s given up on saving her, but their children still have a chance. However, not even they are within his reach, as Paige has already stashed them at Magic School without his permission. It seems Henry has no place in this relationship anymore, and he decides to walk away for what seems like the last time.
Her fragile domestic situation seems to give Paige motivation to take action, and she is determined to fight back. She transports herself, Piper, and Dominus to Cupid’s Temple, thinking the Tribunal will take care of him. A good plan, but Prue got there first. They see the bloody evidence of her rampage, then find Prue holding Phoebe over the balcony, ready to drop her. Now that she’s got more sisters with her, Prue doesn’t need to waste her time with just one, so she sends Phoebe to her potential death. Only quick action on Piper and Paige’s part saves her.
Paige rescues Phoebe before she can hit the ground and Paige tries to take Prue on by herself. When reasoning with her powered-up sister doesn’t work, Piper gets red up and punches Prue in the face. Temporarily distracted, it allows the sisters to try to orb Coop out of there, but alas, it is not to be. Coop has been bound to the temple, so they have to leave him behind as they orb back to the Manor. They’ll have to regroup and figure out a new plan. Back at the temple, Dominus talks Prue out of continuing her mission of revenge at the moment. They have bigger concerns. A new age is coming.
The sisters don’t have to deal with the situation all on their own. Darryl, his dead partner Andy, and Amelia get to the Manor ready to help, while the sisters are upstairs conjuring up Prue’s form. They do manage to get the body, but it’s actually Patience who appears. And she’s got some information for them, as does Amelia. The Old Ones are coming, as is the end of the world. They may not all get along, but they’ve got a common enemy.
Patience reveals that there’s nothing controlling Prue, it’s her. The Nexus of All rebelled inside of her when she killed Heremus and Prue took in all of that power. The bloodbath she served at the temple was not the first deadly act she committed. Patience admits that Prue killed her, destroying the remaining part of Patience’s consciousness. She also shares the fact that Prue awoke the Archai power within Tyler and turned Kyra human, taking her power of demonic foresight. And Prue brought Ben back in Cole’s body so she could use Ben as an anchor for the spells when she journeyed into her mind. It was all planned out, all connected, and building to a deadly endgame.
However, all hope might not be lost. Andy and Amelia have a plan. The sisters knew Prue before, when she was good, so Andy and the sisters are going to bind themselves to Darryl. If he can touch Prue, the sisters and Andy will be drawn to her and their love will help cleanse her. The plan is sound, but they get an additional member in their group before they depart. Henry is outside the Manor, having called Paige many times with no answer. He needs to know she’s safe, but what he finds upstairs doesn’t support that. Henry sees Paige’s image come out of Darryl’s face and wants to know what’s going on. He then touches Darryl and is transported along with Amelia to the site of Prue’s destruction.
The plan actually does seem to work the way they intended. Darryl makes contact and they’re within Prue’s mind. They find their sister inside, and she seems to be apologetic over her actions, happy to see Andy again, but then Heremus takes over. They are tossed out of Prue’s mind, and their connection lost. Amelia tries to go after Prue, but she’s cast off. It’s up to the sisters again to try and save the day. Piper takes Phoebe to the side while Paige confronts Prue. Piper asks Coop to take Kyra and Ben and get them out of there, then she gets him to take Phoebe back to Magic School, too, against Phoebe’s wishes. They have to keep the baby safe.
We end with a confrontation that doesn’t reveal who is in peril. Henry tries to take on Prue, but he’s frozen and Prue forces Piper to watch while she slashes at either him or Piper. It’s unclear as the issue ends, but there is blood, and someone is seriously injured. Who will it be? And will they recover? Stay tuned for the next issue to find out!
