Tyler is in a bad spot. Possessed by Heremus, it appears that Prue wants to just end him where he stands, even if she later denies it. She gradually backs off and says that if they can get him to Magic School she might be able to source the infection. A good attempt to save face, but also too little too late. The seeds of doubt about her intentions are already planted within her sisters’ minds. Unfortunately for all, after Tyler admits that he remembers bits and pieces, and thinks Zankou killed Kyra and Ben, he escapes through a fire portal.
Kareem isn’t doing much better with the uncertain fate of his boyfriend. On the phone with Aidel, he is interrupted when Tyler rings his doorbell. The joyous reunion is cut short when Tyler turns and starts choking him. It doesn’t look hopeful for anyone involved. And the situation looks even more dire when Aidel heads over, after a lack of contact with Kareem, and finds the house in disarray. Looking inside in his cat form, he finds the family passed out and Tuatha standing over them.
Meanwhile, Prue is connecting to the larger power around her and her sisters are unsettled. How far might she go to achieve her goal? And why was she so focused on killing Tyler rather than trying to save him? Paige talks to Henry and asks if anything happened in the Wasteland that might have clued them in to why this is happening to Tyler and they learn that the boy got hit with some gunk from a geyser. With a bit of a clue as to why Tyler was targeted, the sisters are ready to take on Tuatha and try to save Tyler.
Among the issues to deal with, in addition to Tyler, is what’s going on with Ben. He admits that he has Cole’s memories along with his own, and Cole’s feelings about Phoebe. Determined to help out his boy further, and perhaps save him, Kyra and Ben go see her singing friends. They put the handprint on them again so that Ben can go see Cole, but it goes a bit wrong. Ben tries to take Cole’s place and we’re left with a cliffhanger of what it all means. Can he rewrite history? And if so, where does that leave the sisters? And will they be able to save Tyler after all? We have to wait to find out.
