Things are definitely bad when all the supernatural leaders are joined in a new Tribunal. The Charmed Ones might be on their own to save the world, yet again, as the other potential allies are running scared. Will their families survive the coming battle? That’s what we have to find out.

As much as Prue’s magical storyline has intrigued me, I’m about ready for it to be over. But first we have to deal with all the little strings tying everything together. First up, the fact that Coop is now banished and away from his wife and children. Phoebe and her sisters have come to fight for his return, but are faced with a new truth. The supernatural leaders have joined together to fight the Old Ones. Safety is not guaranteed. Added to this is something else that the sisters later learn. The reason Coop was recalled isn’t for punishment, but for safety reasons. All the most valuable soldiers are being pulled back to keep them safe, because they all fear the Old Ones will prevail in the battle on Earth. So, if Phoebe has any hope of seeing her husband again, she and her sisters have to defeat the Old Ones.
We get some strong hints that Tyler is tied up in the mess with the Old Ones, too. His boyfriend is worried about him, as are his parents, because he hasn’t been heard from in a few days. We see that he’s been mentally tortured, perhaps controlled, and is most likely the link that Heremus has to Earth. This can mean very bad things for all involved, if it turns out to be true. Elsewhere, we have Ben and Kyra attempting to join forces and get Cole back. Good idea, great attempt, but as soon as Kyra begins the spell she unleashes something dark and evil in the form of Zankou. He is a precursor to some very heavy things later in the issue.
Meanwhile, Prue has brought Neena back to torture her. Or perhaps use her. Reluctantly, Neena agrees to help and try to control the Nexus, but she also warns that Prue will cause her family more pain before it’s all over. This warning is not yet heeded, though, and instead Prue pushes forward to provides a potential solution to her sisters. If she can transfer the All to someone else, someone trusted, then the threat to her sisters will go away. But there is no one they trust more than each other, so Phoebe suggests they all take it on, divide it among the sisters. It makes sense, and could help them with the coming battle against the Old Ones. And even though Paige isn’t so sure at first, fearful that this is exactly what Henry was talking about with continually putting their families in danger, even she finally agrees.
The dramatic high point of the issue comes when the sisters are trying to perform the transfer spell. In the midst of it all, Zankou comes in through a portal and attacks. But the fight is short-lived, as Prue explodes him, but from his destroyed image comes Tyler. And then the recognition by Prue that Tyler is housing Heremus. That’s where we leave off. Is Tyler going to be the victim in this war? Or can they save their friend while defeating their enemy? We’ll have to wait to find out.
