Prue’s continuing to be mysterious and I’m continuing to be confused over her whole situation. I just want to get somewhere with her, else I feel my interest waning even more. Let’s get on with it! Shocking plot twists requested, please.

It took me until Prue actually addressed Kyra by name for my to know who she was. That is, in part, due to the fact that the artwork did not resemble the character to me. Maybe a little more alignment with Charisma Carpenter would help? At any rate, Prue’s in with her now. She’s called forth The Seer in order to help her figure out what she is. Of course the implication is that Prue is no longer human, or at least not fully human. She knows it, the sisters have inferred it, and in this issue their mother and grandmother confirm it. We don’t know what Prue is, but she’s definitely not the same as she was before. There were hints that we’d get the answer next issue, and I’m more than ready. It feels like this mystery has dragged on for way too long.
What was more appealing to me was the whole story surrounding Cole’s dead father and Coop’s involvement with bringing him back to life. He owes it to Cole to see this mission through, and apparently Henry’s along for the ride. So, too, is Tyler. He overheard the two of them talking about how they need to get into the Demonic Wasteland in order to retrieve the other half of the soul, and Tyler knows that he holds the power to do so. The only issue is convincing others that he can do it. His boyfriend’s not sold on the idea, and neither are Coop and Henry. But they don’t really have any other option, so away they go. And it looked like it might actually work out. They got in, Coop grabbed the other soul orb, and they were almost free and clear. That is, until Tyler’s power faltered and they were left to run for their lives. If that weren’t enough, we see Coop tripping and breaking the soul orb, so their whole mission might be for naught. Why can’t anything go right in this family?
So, next issue we’ll hopefully get Coop, Henry, and Tyler rescued, along with finding out who or what Prue really is. Please let it be worth this long wait. Otherwise, I’m just going to be disappointed.
