Since E3 (Electronic Entertainment Expo) is this week, I’ve been so excited for upcoming video games. In the past few days, gaming companies debuted and divulged some of the upcoming games this year. Here are just a few games I’m excited about.

1. Assassin’s Creed: Unity

acunity

I love Assassin’s Creed 3 and 4, so an Assassin’s game set during the French Revolution is just so exciting. Ubisoft announced four player co-op, which looks amazing! The wall climbing/jumping and air assassinations all look great as always. I’m a little disappointed by the lack of diversity (so far), but hopefully when the full game drops on October 28th, we will see what the game has to offer.

2. Dragon Age: Inquisition

dainquisition

The third major game of the Dragon Age series offers more than ever. More romances, more companions, and more choices on your Inquisitor. Old characters are making an appearance and the new characters look amazing. The combat looks pretty slick, as do the graphics. When the game comes out on October 7th, I can’t wait to romance everyone I can and save the world.

3. Batman: Arkham Knight

Arkham Knight doesn’t come out until 2015, but my word does it look amazing. The trailer was so cool and driving the Batmobile looks like a lot of fun. I won’t be good at it, but as long as I can drive over my enemies, who cares! Scarecrow looks appropriately scary. It won’t be the same without Joker, but I’m looking forward to seeing this.

4. Destiny

destiny

I wasn’t super into Destiny when I first heard about it. I just thought it was just another shooter, but the trailer made it look a lot of fun and the story seems interesting. The games comes out on September 9th, which is sooner than I thought!

5. Far Cry 4

farcry4

I have never played a Far Cry game, but this one just looks fun! The trailer was really amazing and the villain is both charming and terrifying. The game is released on November 18th, so we have many months of learning more about it.

6. Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMix

While KH3 was absent at E3, KH2.5 was there and has a release date of December 2nd. I love the KH series and being able to play it in HD is just a joy.

7. LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham

legobatman3

Like other games on this list, I love the LEGO series. LEGO Batman 1 and 2 were fun and it’s always nice to play as all the DC characters. The story continues from LEGO Batman 2 and brings even more DC elements.

8. The Order: 1886

theorder1886

The Order looks amazing. I love the idea of a group of people hunting monsters, especially in a steampunk area. The trailer was fantastic and the monsters look scary as all heck. It seems to be kind of based off Le Morte d’Arthur, with similar names and themes. The Order: 1886 comes out February 20th, 2015.

9. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

thewitcher3

The Witcher is just as gorgeous as the other games on this list and very immersive. It carries off The Witcher 2 and improves upon it. The RPG elements are still there and the world is much larger. The game comes out on February 24th, 2015.

Assassin's Creed, Assassin's Creed Unity, Batman Arkham Knight, destiny, Dragon Age, dragon age inquisition, E3, Far Cry, far cry 4, Kingdom Hearts, lego batman, Lists, the order 1886, The Witcher, The Witcher 3
