We’re taking a bit of a break this week because I really want to know: what are you guys reading? I have have read hundreds, if not thousands, of pages of webcomics over the last six months or so trying to find what I think is the best of the best available right now. However, I am only one person, and I want to know what you think is the best of the best available!
This is your chance — have you been reading, hoping I’ll mention your favorite webcomic (or even YOUR webcomic)? Well, please take a moment and tell me about it here! Give me the name of the comic, a link (pretty pretty please, with sugar on top) and why you think it should be highlighted on Webcomic Wednesday. I do, from time to time, get emails from fans and creators alike, but I wanted to give you all a forum to sell it to the rest of our readership.
I am really looking forward to see what you guys recommend. I know I already have a couple great comics lined up in the next couple of weeks but, who knows, maybe your favorite webcomic will be featured here because you mentioned it. I am but one woman working to bring you fresh interesting comics to read, but I really want to know: what are you reading?
I’d love to recommend a few (and no, they aren’t ones that I make.). First, anything from Broken Soul Press (http://www.brokensoulpress.com) is top notch. BSP is ran by Curtis Lawson, an excellent writer who works with several artists to make titles such as Curtis Lawson’s Grindhouse, Divis Morte, and Kincaid. Each title is excellent and can be found on the BSP site.
Another excellent title that has me hooked is Down the Stairs in Bethany Hallway. I know it’s a crazy long title, but the comic is absolutely fascinating. It hasn’t been running all that long, and seems to update somewhat erratically, but every page is nothing short of amazing. I know it runs on Smack Jeeve’s, but I’ve been reading it on Drunk Duck here: http://www.drunkduck.com/Down_The_Stairs_in_Bethany_Hospital/
Another fairly new one that is definitely worth checking out is Fusion from EssayBee Comics. Fusion is a very interesting and entertaining take on a modern superhero. The writing is witty, funny and full of Star Wars references. The main character is a Cambodian teen who is really geeky when she’s not decked out as super powered super hero Fusion. Check it out here:

Well, there’s my suggestions!
I’ll bite. I’d like to see your cover my brother’s webcomic, Cruel & Unusual. http://comic.jamesielliott.com
