During February and March of 2010, we consulted our readers and compiled a list called The 100 Greatest Books of All Time, based entirely on their votes and opinions. Everything from the book selections to their rankings was determined entirely by our voters. The countdown from 100 concluded, and we received requests from one staff writer as well as some readers to make a retrospective post that showcased the covers of all 100 books in the list. So here, now in a single post, are the covers for the entirety of the book list, with links back to the original posts that ranked them.

Hah! The list was based entirely on our readers’ votes. I’m not personally a Twilight fan and was actually afraid the book would end up higher on the list than it did, given the size and passion of its fanbase. I was kind of surprised that it peaked at 77.

4. A Clockwork Orange
