The Witchblade motion picture was just announced a week or so ago, and the studio isn’t wasting any time on getting things rolling. Here’s a look at the teaser poster that’s already hit the web, and an official website already is online as well. The site is pretty bare bones for now and doesn’t have anything more than a sign-up area where you can add your name to the movie’s newsletter for now.
The Witchblade movie will be based on the long-running comic book series from Top Cow about a New York City police officer who becomes the wielder of a mystical gauntlet called the Witchblade. The comic previously was adapted as a short-lived TV series starring Yancy Butler.

The newest promotional poster for the film adaptation of The Spirit has been released at New York Comic Con this weekend. It features Eva Mendes as Sand Saref, and I’m struck by how much the marketing for this movie reminds me of Frank Miller’s other comic-to-film directorial project, Sin City.

The Spirit is based on the comics of Will Eisner and releases January 16, 2009. It also stars Gabriel Macht, Scarlett Johansson, Samuel L Jackson, Jaime King, Paz Vega, and Sarah Paulson.

The first poster from the new Incredible Hulk movie is out there, and IGN has an exclusive look at it. Iron Man has been getting all the buzz and attention lately, but I’m looking forward to the Hulk’s second try at a big screen franchise just as much as I’m anticipating Tony Stark’s armored up antics.
