Lively Lights Up Green Lantern
Gossip Girl‘s Blake Lively will co-star with Ryan Reynolds in Warner’s Green Lantern after a search for just the right female lead. Lively will play Carol Ferris, aka Star Sapphire. Other probable contenders for the role were Keri Russell and Jennifer Garner.
The Hollywood Reporter goes on to say that the roles of villain Dr. Hector Hammond and the alien Sinestro are the next to be cast.
