This month I’ll be featuring a rather eclectic group of videos. There are a couple of geek-adjacent videos, some funny stuff, and more typically geeky stuff. Let’s get to part one for this month!

“Blanche” by Vincent D’Onofrio and Dana Lyn

Yeah, when I heard that Wilson Fisk himself (well, OK, technically the actor who plays him, but still…) had a spoken word album out, I knew I had to check it out. It’s just as odd as you might think. I love it; I plan to do a review sometime soon.

“Jean-Luc Picard” by Eclectic Method

“I’m the captain, what’s happening?” Jean-Luc’s words set to EDM. Very cool!

“Warhammer 40K: Space Marine – Rap Review” by Broken Pixels

I used to play Warhammer 40K back in the day. I’ve already added this game to my Steam Wishlist; it looks awesome! I’m looking forward to seeing Broken Pixels at Orlando Nerd Fest if this is the kind of stuff they normally do!

“Coming Through” by Sulfur & Tribe One

“Dedicated to the greatest henchmen of all time: Bebop and Rocksteady.” Sulfur & Tribe One on a TMNT track? Of course! Awesome!

“Your Favorite Song” by Mega Ran

Ran’s on a mission to make this song your favorite song. It shouldn’t take long for him to accomplish it. Let’s hope he gets a “Weird Al” parody out of it.

“Ziggy Starfish (Anti-Anxiety Raps)” by Open Mike Eagle

I’ve been slightly hesitant to include Open Mike Eagle on my lists here, but since he recently called himself a nerd on his podcast, I feel less hesitant about it. Plus this video features a certain someone you may recognize if you pay attention.

“I’m Gonna Miss You” by Marc With a C

The latest video from Marc’s amazing new album, Exactly Where I Am. Need I say more?

“If We’d Just Meet Al” by Stevie D & Sarah G

If only Stevie D and Sarah G could meet “Weird Al.” Oh, and also, Illbotz have a new single available. I’ve been waiting for new stuff!

“If I Were a Jedi” by Mad Scientists (NSFW)

It’s kinda weird that I get to feature one of my former students on a list like this, but here it is. You should probably also check out the Mad Scientists’ other videos, too. They’re also pretty silly. Oh, and be sure to check out Mr. Negative on the Fandomania: Geek Music podcast.

“MouseOnAWheel” by Tommy Spase

A nice simple acoustic song about overcoming obstacles and getting over the past.

broken pixels, dana lyn, eclectic method, Illbotz, mad scientists, marc with a c, Mega Ran aka Random, open mike eagle, sulfur, Tommy SpaSe and the Alchemists, tribe one, vincent d'onofrio
