Sleepers arrives on Digital and 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray on April 21, marking the film’s first release in 4K resolution with HDR. Directed by Barry Levinson and based on the novel by Lorenzo Carcaterra, the 1996 drama features an ensemble cast led by Robert De Niro, Dustin Hoffman, Brad Pitt, Kevin Bacon, and Jason Patric.
The story follows four boys from a New York neighborhood whose lives are changed by a tragic mistake that leads to time in a reform school. Years later, the consequences of what happened there resurface, drawing them back together as they confront the past and seek a measure of justice.
This anniversary release includes new bonus features, including The Making of Sleepers: A Conversation with Barry Levinson and Sleepers: The Art of Casting, which explore the film’s production and the creation of its ensemble cast.
